AFC World Cup Qualification Round Three began in 2024, the first round that will see nations automatically qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup held in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Format wise – round three sees 18 total nations – 3 groups of 6 nations each – playing in a round robin styled format.
