John Travolta's Danny Zuko reemerged at the Hollywood Bowl, 47 years after the star portrayed the Rydell High T-Bird in 'Grease' the movie.

Long screening at the Hollywood Bowl last night got a surprise when the original Danny Zuko strutted out onstage. John Travolta posted a photo of himself in character and a video as he entered — wearing a blond wig — from stage right.

Released in 1978, Travolta starred in “Grease” alongside Olivia Newton-John, who died in 2022. Other cast members include Stockard Channing, Jeff Conaway, Jamie Donnelly, Dinah Manoff and Eve Arden. Made for only $6 million, the film became Paramount’s highest earner by the end of its run, with a gross of more than $130 million.
