Many cities and towns will celebrate Independence Day with festivals, live music and more before they light up the night sky with dazzling fireworks displays.

Metro Denver should see typical conditions for early July with temperatures in the low to mid-90s throughout the weekend, a slight breeze and a small chance of afternoon showers.

There will be afternoon storm chances each day for the holiday weekend. The good news is the storms will be widely scattered along the Front Range. So, many places could stay dry and miss out on the hit-and-miss storms.
