Carlos Sainz has opened up on Lando Norris' frustration about the 2025 MCL39 F1 car, straight from the McLaren Garage.

Some of McLaren’s F1 car upgrades have been tailored to address Lando Norris's confidence issues. Both Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri have complained of “numb” feelings in the MCL39, prompting McLaren to test a revised front suspension last time out at the F1 Canadian Grand Prix.

McLaren has brought a fresh round of upgrades to the Austrian Grand Prix, with a focus on rear-end stability and driver-specific refinements, particularly aimed at enhancing Lando Norris’ confidence in the car.
