Denver Mayor Mike Johnston has come under fire from Tom Homan, Donald Trump’s incoming border czar, after expressing his willingness to resist federal deportation efforts, even if it means incarceration.

Tom Homan, the incoming border czar, said Monday that he was willing to put the Denver mayor in jail if he didn't comply with the Trump administration's immigration policies.

Homan’s comments come after Mayor Mike Johnston said he was willing to go to jail to stop possible mass deportation efforts under the incoming Trump administration.
