The NBA All-Star Rising Stars Game will take place on Friday, February 14th, as part of NBA All-Star Weekend at the Chase Center, featuring the league's next up-and-coming players. The Bay Area's NBA All-Star Weekend officially tipped off with a pair of games Friday night on both sides of the bay.

The winning Rising Stars team will play in the All-Star Game mini-tournament on Sunday, Feb. 16. WNBA legend Candace Parker will serve as honorary GM of the Rising Stars champion, known as Team Candace. With the Rising Stars being incorporated into All-Star Sunday night, Spurs' Stephon Castle was one of the players who took the floor.

The biggest stars in the NBA shined in the newly formatted All-Star Game that featured a four-team mini-tournament. The format was designed to have the players put on an entertaining performance for the thousands of fans in attendance.
