The Wisconsin Badgers volleyball team fell, 25-21, 25-22, 25-17, to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday night in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Nebraska volleyball sweeps the season series vs. Wisconsin for the first time since 2013, taking both matches in a sweep for the first time since 2012.

Wisconsin has only been swept twice all season – both to Nebraska. This also marks the first time Nebraska swept both matches over Wisconsin since 2012. With the loss, Wisconsin moves to 13-22-1 all-time against the Huskers and 4-12 in Lincoln.

After the football team dominated Wisconsin in its most impressive performance of the season, the volleyball team handed Bucky another helping of Husker power, sweeping the No. 6 Badgers (25-21, 25-22, 25-17) on Saturday night at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

Two of the nation’s top women’s volleyball teams crash the court Saturday night in Lincoln, as the 2nd-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers play host to the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers.

Nebraska and Wisconsin Volleyball have played a total of six sets against each other this season, all of which have been won by the Huskers. Seniors, Merritt Beason, Leyla Blackwell, Lindsay Krause, Kennadi Orr and Lexi Rodriguez were all celebrated for their contributions to the program after tonight's win.
