After a nearly three-hour standoff with SWAT, a man who barricaded himself inside an apartment in Pearland is now in custody, according to Pearland police.Officers were called to the apartment complex at 2701 Old Alvin Road around 8:45 a.

Police said it started around 8 a.m. Sunday morning after a concerned neighbor reported bullet hole damage on an apartment door. When Pearland police officers arrived at the scene, they tried to make contact with the suspect, but then shots were fired from inside the apartment, police said.
