The Mariners were unable to make up for a costly error early in the game and failed to close out the Rangers in extra innings.

But with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th, Rangers second baseman Marcus Semien came up big, lacing a line drive through the right side of the infield to plate the game-winning run and secure the win. The Rangers’ dugout emptied immediately after to mob Semien.
