Dr Disrespect’s controversial career and the events leading to his bans on major platforms remain a significant topic in the gaming community. His move to Rumble marks the latest chapter, as the streamer aims to rebuild after years of scrutiny and setbacks.

The move to Rumble is the latest development in the Dr Disrespect streaming saga that began four years ago. In 2020, Dr Disrespect, whose real name is Herschel “Guy” Beahm, was banned from Twitch with little explanation mere months after signing a multi-million dollar exclusivity deal.

Guy Beahm, the streamer better known as Dr Disrespect, has joined the right-wing streaming platform Rumble, not just as a streamer but also as lead of Rumble Gaming —not esports talent agency of the same name, which is unrelated, but the platform's gaming-focused livestream category.

Dr Disrespect isn’t actually leaving YouTube behind completely when he starts streaming according to Rumble’s CEO Chris Pavlovski.

The streamer, who has an audience of millions, admitted in June he had sent messages he described as “inappropriate” to a minor in 2017, costing him plenty of brand deals.

After being demonetized from YouTube and banned from Twitch, Dr Disrespect reveals he has joined the platform called Rumble.

Dr Disrespect’s decision to join Rumble and lead its Gaming section has some fans excited while others are abandoning the creator.

As part of an agreement that includes equity with milestones as a majority of its compensation, Dr Disrespect will provide exclusive content to Rumble Premium for his ‘Champions Club’ community,” the company’s November 25 press release reads.

The streamer was banned from Twitch and demonized on YouTube after admitting to sending inappropriate messages to a minor, but he just announced an equity stake deal with Rumble.
