Throughout the day, and well into the evening, the crowds of people in Union Square were pretty consistent this Black Friday — and shoppers noticed too.

Shoppers across the Bay Area are on the hunt for good deals this Black Friday. Many people are dropping into stores in San Francisco's Union Square. While activity picked up in the afternoon, some businesses say foot traffic is down from this time last year.
