While New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs did not play in the team’s second preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, he was still a hot topic at halftime.

The Stefon Diggs experience reportedly isn’t going well in New England. Shortly after a tense exchange Thursday with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel over the star receiver’s Week 1 availability, NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry shed a bit more light on a new marriage that’s already on shaky ground.

Diggs has participated fully in almost every camp practice thus far, but he did not play in last Friday's preseason opener against the Washington Commanders
