Birmingham Sports on Monday reported that head coach Dabo Swinney’s son, Drew, would be moving on from his position as Clemson’s assistant wide receivers coach to become Samford’s wide receivers coach. Former Tigers’ offensive player development intern Paul Tyson will also be joining the staff as the quarterbacks coach.

As you will recall, Clemson gave Alabama a tough game in the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Tigers, as always, are well-coached and while everyone has to rebuild every year now, Brownell seems to have done a pretty good job of it (again).

Tigers junior cornerback Avieon Terrell announced Monday on social media that he’s declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft and leaving Clemson one year early. Terrell did not specify whether he will play in Clemson’s upcoming bowl game. The Tigers will play Penn State in the Pinstripe Bowl in New York City on Dec. 27.
