University of Arkansas baseball Coach Dave Van Horn said Tuesday he was encouraged by the results of a Monday MRI for pitcher Gage Wood.

Arkansas: Dave Van Horn — 890-458 in 23rd season at Arkansas and 1,210-615 in 31st season overall in Division I.  Charlotte: Robert Woodard — 149-116 in sixth season at Charlotte and overall.  The game will be streamed by SEC Network+ and can be accessed on WatchESPN.
