The Cleveland Browns could take a risk at quarterback this offseason, taking advantage of a unique opportunity to undermine the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After another disappointing season from Deshaun Watson, ESPN's Mel Kiper has the Browns selecting a QB in his latest mock draft.
The Cleveland Browns are entering an offseason filled with uncertainty, with one of the biggest questions being who will take over at quarterback after Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles and is expected to miss "significant time" of next season.
The team's focus on getting Watson back to full health could bring more bad news for the quarterback, Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports speculated. DeArdo said the remarks seem to hint that even if Watson can make it back onto the field in 2025, the "Browns may decide to stick with whoever is their starting quarterback at that point in the season."
At the NFL Combine, Browns GM Andrew Berry and HC Kevin Stefanski both said the team does not intend to trade Myles Garrett. If they did, there was talk of trying to include Deshaun Watson. They would also likely want to include Cuyahoga County Exec.
