Houston Texans star RB Joe Mixon had some words for the NFL after being fined for his comments about the Kansas City Chiefs and the refs.

Two-time Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon has been fined $25,000 for comments he made about NFL officiating. The only problem is he didn't make that comment.

Joe Mixon rightfully had some harsh words for the NFL on Twitter after a pretty costly blunder had the Houston Texans’ running back invoking Connor McDavid, of all athletes, in his rant.

Mixon's agent said the NFL improperly fined Mixon for remarks to the media about the officiating in the Texans' loss to the Chiefs.

In last week’s wild-card round win over the Los Angeles Chargers, Mixon became the first running back since Arian Foster in 2012 to rush for 100 yards in a playoff game. He finished with 106 yards and scored a 17-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to ice the game.
