With runners on first and second and one out, Pearson hit a run-scoring single in the 10th inning to give LSU the 6-5 lead over Kansas State. A two-run single from Utah Valley transfer Daniel Dickinson grew the Tigers' lead to 8-5 before freshman right-hander Casan Evans closed out the victory.

K-State coach Jeff Mittie eased Lee back into action and only used her for five minutes on Saturday. But she was part of the starting lineup and managed to score six points and grab two rebounds while she was on the court. This was her first step toward returning to her usual role in the middle of K-State’s frontcourt.
