Apple has been working on its own 5G modem chip for at least 7 years, and now it is finally being released. The C1 cost billions and comes partly from Munich.
Commentary: The iPhone 16E mashes together a few of Apple's prior phones to hit its lower price. Some of the choices for what to include are excellent, while others leave me puzzled.
The iPhone SE is no more. It’s now replaced by the iPhone 16e, which includes a price hike, Face ID, and USB-C.
That being said, Apple later took notice of the growing petition, previously announcing that the feature and support would be available come Spring 2025. The petition also revealed that the South Korean government did not restrict Apple from running its Find My network, and it is the company that chose to make it unavailable.
