The world’s largest Cadbury Creme Egg, roughly the same size as an emperor penguin, made its debut at Cadbury World in Bournville, a small village on the southwest side of Birmingham, England.

The confectionary company, Cadbury, says it's made the world's largest Creme Egg - about as tall as a USPS mailbox. NPR's Scott Simon talks to chocolatier Dawn Jenks about the creation.

The world's largest Cadbury Creme Egg made its debut at Cadbury World in the U.K. on Monday. The edible ornament will be on display until April 27, just one week after Easter Sunday.
