Those shoes were custom-made by Tinker Hatfield, the legendary Nike sneaker designer, in honor of Lee’s 2019 Oscar nomination. They were given to Lee and other people close to the iconic filmmaker.

He’s produced five four-shoe sets so far: two out of Air Jordan 1s, one from New Balance 650s, one out of Adidas Yeezys and a set in the style of the Nike Mag Back to the Future shoes.
