Don't expect a PS5 Pro update to release for one of PlayStation's biggest third-party games of the past few years.

CD Projekt Red has some unfortunate news for Cyberpunk 2077 fans following the release of Sony's newest console, the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Developer CD Projekt Red says it currently has no plans to deliver a PS5 Pro Enhanced patch or update for the console version of Cyberpunk 2077.

A lot of big games are getting patches to take advantage of the PS5 Pro's power, but CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 is not among them. The Polish developer confirmed this on social media in response to a question from a fan.

Cyberpunk 2077 currently offers two modes on the PS5: a ray tracing mode locked at 30fps and a performance mode targeting 60fps.
