ISKCON monk Chinmoy was reportedly held in Bangladesh for alleged sedition, during his rallies in Chattaogram and Rangpur. He was arrested from the Dhaka International Airport by the Detective Branch of Dhaka Police.

Bangladesh has strongly condemned the arrest of Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das, a prominent Sanatani leader, and voiced grave concern over the rising violence and attacks against the Sanatani community across the country.
