Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium visitors will get a bird's eye view of several exhibits thanks to a new attraction.

"Freddie is our oldest bird in here in the flamingo flock, but he does not act like it," said Kylie McKenzie, a Denver Zoo animal care specialist, in a video the zoo posted to social media.

Ileana Garcia (R) in Miami, replaces the state's current state bird, the northern mockingbird, with the American flamingo. It would also designate the Florida scrub-jay the official state songbird.
