The Israeli military has released video footage of a Gaza tunnel where it says six hostages were recently killed by Hamas.

Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that the video of the tunnel was shown to the families of the hostages that are believed to have been killed. According to Hagari, it "was very hard for them to see how their loved ones survived in those conditions."

The hostages, whose bodies were recently recovered, appear to have spent the last weeks of their lives in a tight and humid tunnel about 20 meters underground.
