Rain, tropical-storm-force winds and even the potential for some tornadoes are possible for some portions of Florida with Tropical Storm Rafael.

Here’s the latest forecast track of Tropical Storm Rafael, which is expected to become a hurricane on a track toward the US Gulf coast.

Rafael was a tropical storm in the Caribbean Sea Tuesday afternoon Eastern time, the National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory. The tropical storm had sustained wind speeds of 70 miles per hour. Follow our coverage here.
