Moorhead police arrested an armed 17-year-old student at Moorhead High School Career Academy on Monday. Police responded to a call of a stolen handgun and were sent to the 500 block of 32 Avenue South. The 25-year-old resident told officers that the teenage boy had come over to his apartment, and when he left took a handgun that was in his bedroom.

The student was taken into custody after the Moorhead Police Department learned of the potential threat, and nobody was hurt.
