Spain will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package worth 1 billion euros ($1.05 billion) this year, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said on Monday in Kyiv during an international meeting held on the third anniversary of Russia's invasion.

"We are ready to continue to provide military assistance and equipment with even more determination than we have in the past," Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez said.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced a fresh €1 billion ($1.047 billion) military aid package for Ukraine on Monday. “We will continue supporting Ukraine as long as it takes. We will not let you down when you need us the most,” said Sanchez at the summit in Kyiv marking the third anniversary of the war.
