A group of women who headed to North Wales for a walking holiday have vowed never to return - after claiming they were subjected to 'astounding hatred for the English'

A band of walkers have said they will never return to North Wales after claiming to encounter 'astounding' hostility towards the English. The group, comprising seven ladies aged 55 to 70 from the 'Women that Walk' group, spent spend their holiday in August in Llanberis, North Wales.

But one of the walkers, Amy Hurst, said the women 'felt a bit scared' at times during their four-day trip due to 'anti-English' attitude of locals, North Wales Live reports. She claimed the 'vibe was awful all round' as she said she would not recommend a trip there 'to anybody'.
