Boston Celtics starting center Kristpas Porzingis was impressed by the incredible coverage work of All-Defensive First Team San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama, who just made his first All-Star team this season.

The return of Porzingis was a bit rocky at first, which is not all that odd given how late in the season he first took the court. Now, he appears to be very close to at the peak of his powers -- and hopefully will stay that way given the impact he has had on Boston's play.

Boston is 17-12 since Dec. 1. They have a lack of wing depth. Jayson Tatum is currently working through a shooting slump. Jrue Holiday and Sam Hauser have both been dealing with injuries. As such, it's fair to say that Porzingis has reached his peak at the perfect time, as he gives Mazzulla another star talent to lean on.
