Charlotte greeted Foutch with two singles sandwiched around a hit batter to cut the deficit to 3-2. Will McEntire (1-0) took over on the mound at that point and gave up a game-tying fielder’s choice, but kept it deadlocked at 3-3 after that to give his team a chance to win it in the bottom of the ninth.

Arkansas manufactured a run in both the sixth and the seventh innings. Helfrick used aggressive baserunning to respond to Charlotte's run in the top of the seventh. He led off the inning with a walk and advanced to second on a sacrifice and scored on a pair of wild pitches.

Logan Maxwell brought in the game-winning run to give Arkansas a 4-3 walk-off win over Charlotte, completing the series sweep.

Arkansas (10-1) swept the weekend series and won its sixth consecutive game. The Razorbacks are scheduled to host Louisiana-Monroe on Tuesday. Maxwell’s game-winning hit was recorded at 3:08 p.m. No inning would have been allowed to begin after 3:15 p.m. because the 49ers had a commercial flight to catch back to Charlotte.
