Chennai Super Kings have signed Ravichandran Ashwin for IPL 2025, marking a return to his former team. CSK seeks to leverage his experience and skills, alongside fresh acquisition Noor Ahmad, to strengthen their bowling strategy.

"He does the same as ( Ravindra) Jadeja at the moment, but looking forward there could be an opportunity, so if his development continues, he is a very silky player and we are really happy to have him at that price," Fleming said.
