Seriously, people have been clamoring for more Daredevil since the original Netflix series wrapped up in October 2018. That clamoring reached a fever pitch in 2022 when Charlie Cox reprised his role as the blind superhero in "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law."

They weren’t kidding when they said Born Again wouldn’t be like Netflix’s Daredevil, Disney gave it the usual slick, flashy, and somewhat brainless treatment, making it feel like just another Disney+ show. Fans are especially disappointed with the opening fight, calling it CGI-heavy and over-the-top, more Avengery than Daredevil grit.

The official trailer for "Daredevil: Born Again," released in January, centers around a tense conversation between Cox's Murdock and D'Onofrio's Fisk in a New York City diner -- intercut with bloody, bone-breaking action, of course.
