Drake has filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG), claiming defamation and arguing that the music giant could have halted Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us,” which accused Drake of being a pedophile.

The Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef took over the hip-hop world in 2024, but the rappers had been trading barbs for years before "Not Like Us."

UMG says the allegations about "Not Like Us" - one of the biggest hits of the year - are "offensive and untrue."

Drake has begun legal action against Universal Music Group and Spotify, alleging they conspired to falsely pump up the popularity of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

In court documents obtained by The Post, Drake’s Frozen Moments LLC said that UMG — which distributes both rappers’ music — used “bots” to “artificially inflate” the song’s streams, which “deceived consumers” into thinking Lamar’s track was more popular than it was in reality.

The petition states UMG conspired to boost the track despite knowing the song is "falsely accusing him of being a sex offender."

According to UMG, "no amount of contrived and absurd legal arguments in this pre-action submission can mask the fact that fans choose the music they want to hear."
