Today co-host and meteorologist Dylan Dreyer shared a post on Instagram, in which she announced that she and her husband of 12 years, Brian Fichera, had separated.

Dreyer first joined NBC News in September 2012. Prior to that, since 2007, she worked at the now-former NBC station WHDH in Boston. Dreyer also hosts the NBC educational nature program Earth Odyssey with Dylan Dreyer, which airs as part of the The More You Know block on NBC.

The NBC co-host revealed on July 18 via Instagram that the couple decided to separate “a few months ago,” but will remain close friends and committed co-parents to their three sons
