Lewis Hamilton isn't about to let age stop him pursuing an historic eighth Formula 1 title with his new team Ferrari. An eighth world title would be an all-time record but winning after turning 40 has been a challenge for even the greatest drivers in F1 history.

Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari was announced way back in February 2024. With the Formula 1 season finally done and dusted, and Hamilton having had the chance to say his farewells to the Mercedes team,

Former Mercedes motorsport boss Norbert Haug says it is “very sad” to see Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari red ahead of the F1 2025 season. And he believes Hamilton and Mercedes suffered “a demolition” after the 2021 World Championship was “stolen” from the British driver at that year’s Abu Dhabi decider.
