HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Moderate to locally breezy trades are expected to continue through the weekend. Wind speeds are expected to take a slight dip on Monday, rebounding as high pressure builds back in on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A weak front gradually dropping through the region will stall to our south, maintaining an unsettled weather pattern into the weekend with heavy downpours that could lead to isolated areas of flooding.

The chances of heavy rain and localized flooding over the next two days have prompted a flood watch for much of the Lowcountry.
In the past 24 hours those weather forecast models haven’t changed much, forecasting the atmosphere overhead warm enough to push the lowlands up to around 100° Friday through Sunday. The only slight change is that they are slowing down the onset of cooling ocean breezes early next week.
