Residents in a Granite Bay neighborhood have been told to shelter in place as authorities investigate suspicious circumstances at a home Monday morning.

Deputies were called just after 8 a.m. to Lou Place and Oak Leaf Way after a caller reported “suspicious circumstances.”

The Placer County Sheriff's office said a man detained at a Granite Bay home on Monday is suspected of killing a man and woman who were found inside.
