The Brief39-year-old Mountain Iron resident Benjamin Sherwood was reported missing on Monday. He was found dead in his home on Wednesday morning.His wife reported him missing after he left their residence on Monday morning.

A Mountain Iron man has been reported missing, as the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating him.

Authorities are searching for Benjamin James Sherwood, whose wife said she last saw him at approximately 10 a.m. at their residence on the 8800 block of Main Street in Mountain Iron. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said in a press release Wednesday morning that Sherwood's wife requested a welfare check for him around 4:16 p.m. Tuesday.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said early Wednesday morning they are searching for a missing man from Mountain Iron and are asking for the public's help.
