The Vikings and Patriots just held their first of two joint training camp practices on a beautiful afternoon at TCO Performance Center. Fans packed the stands to watch as the Vikings got an opportunity to test themselves against a different opponent in a practice setting after weeks of battling each other.

The first day of two highly anticipated joint practices between the Eagles and Cleveland Browns at NovaCare Complex was, in a word, sloppy.

The Washington Commanders will not hold their scheduled joint practice next weekwith the Baltimore Ravens ahead of their preseason finale.Instead, both teamswill stick to their own camp plans before meeting on August 23 at NorthwestStadium at 8 p.

But that didn't stop Thursday's joint session from providing bleachers full of Vikings faithful with some fireworks. Especially as it pertained to the young quarterbacks. Which side got the best of Thursday's practice,

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel got knocked down attempting to break up a player fight during a joint practice with the Vikings on Thursday.

The Las Vegas Raiders held a productive joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday. One of the bigger storylines to monitor was the play of the defensive line. Superstar pass rusher Maxx Crosby was elite as always. Elsewhere, the defensive tackle position occasionally struggled, but recent acquisition Thomas Booker was a standout.

That said, Mike Evans showcased his talents well for the Buccaneers as he reportedly destroyed the Pittsburgh Steelers cornerbacks during the two teams’ practice on Thursday. The Tampa Bay Times’s Rick Stroud attended, relaying the offense’s general dominance but specifically highlighting Evans, who enters his 12th campaign.
