A man must protect himself and his family when they are being stalked, terrorized, and haunted by a deadly werewolf at night during a full moon. But as the night stretches on, the man begins to behave strangely.

Whannell co-wrote the “Wolf Man” script with Corbett Tuck, Lauren Schuker Blum, and Rebecca Angelo. Jason Blum is producing the film, a Blumhouse and Motel Movies production, with Gosling Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner, and Whannell executive producing.

Blumhouse has released a new trailer for its upcoming horror remake “ Wolf Man ,” a modern take on the classic Universal monster. The film hits theaters on Jan. 17. Christopher Abbott stars as the titular lycanthrope, who terrorizes his family and wife, played by “Ozark” star Julia Garner.
