The Jaguars hired Liam Coen as head coach with the idea that he'll be able to build around quarterback Trevor Lawrence and lead the team to success.

“He’s our guy,” Coen, the new Jacksonville coach, told reporters Tuesday at the scouting combine in Indianapolis, as reported by NFL Network. “He’s the franchise.” Lawrence’s standing in Jacksonville became a topic after the team fizzled out in 2024, leading to former Super Bowl-winning coach Doug Pederson getting the boot.
