Draven Sebastian Bennington, the 22-year-old child of the Linkin Park singer who died by suicide in 2017, shared in a heartfelt letter that she came out as transgender last year and began the process of transitioning.

The late star, who is remembered as one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time, rose to fame as the lead vocalist of Linkedin Park and dabbled in other bands, including Dead by Sunrise, which was initially a side project, as well as Stone Temple Pilots.

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington’s child Draven has publicly come out as transgender. The 22-year-old, whose famous father died by suicide in 2017, shared their major life update in an Instagram message on Valentine’s Day.
