The U.S. is up to 1,024 confirmed measles cases. Texas has added only one case to its count since Tuesday, further signaling slowing of the nation's largest outbreak.

State health officials have removed three Texas counties from the list of counties with active measles spread.

The Texas health department said measles cases in the state increased by one over the last three days, the lowest addition since the outbreak began in February, taking the total to 718 as of Friday.
