A mission president with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico’s capital was shot by an intruder during an attempted robbery at his home. President R. Tyler Wallis, 56, was shot by a thief at around 2 a.m. Saturday evening in Mexico City, according to Sam Penrod, spokesperson for the Church.
