MINNEAPOLIS -- Justin Jefferson torched the San Francisco 49ers with a 97-yard touchdown to help the Minnesota Vikings storm to an early lead en route to a 23-17 victory in Sunday's NFC showdown. The star wide receiver was helped off the field late in the third quarter, however, after suffering an apparent leg injury.

Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson said Thursday that he's "for sure" playing against the Texans despite sustaining a quadriceps contusion last Sunday.

Justin Jefferson told reporters following Sunday's 23-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers that he wouldn't miss time despite leaving early with a quad injury. The Minnesota Vikings star receiver seems to be a man of his word.
