Nebraska’s win against Wisconsin marks the first time the Cornhuskers have beaten the Badgers since September 2012. That season, Joel Stave served as UW’s quarterback, running back Montee Ball was in his final season in Madison and Bret Bielema manned the sidelines.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are bowl-eligible. On Saturday afternoon, they defeated the Wisconsin Badgers 44-25 to snap their four-game losing streak. Nebraska improved to 6-5 overall and 3-5 in the Big Ten in front of 86,923 fans in the 403rd consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium. Wisconsin falls to 5-6 on the season and 3-5 in the league.

Nebraska is bowl-eligible for the first time since 2016 after a 44-25 win over Wisconsin on Saturday. The win snapped a four-game skid for the Cornhuskers after a 5-1 start to the season.  Nebraska jumped out to a 21-10 halftime lead and didn't look to get the blueblood program back to the postseason.
