Enzo Maresca has been urged to drop ‘non-existent’ Christopher Nkunku for Chelsea’s upcoming Premier League clash against Aston Villa. Chelsea spent over £50m to sign Nkunku from RB Leipzig in 2023 but the French forward has endured a difficult time at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea co-owner Jonathan Goldstein insists head coach Enzo Maresca, who is under increasing pressure, will remain in charge until the end of the season. Maresca inked a five-year contract when he joined this summer and oversaw an excellent start which had Chelsea touted as outside contenders for the Premier League title in December.
