DETROIT -- For the second time this week, Korean automaker Hyundai has announced a recall impacting hundreds of thousands of vehicles. On Wednesday, the company announced it is recalling more than 226,000 cars and SUVs because of a problem with the rearview camera which causes images not to be displayed properly.

Detroit – Hyundai is recalling more than 226,000 SUVs and small cars in the U.S. because the rearview camera image may not show up on the screens. The recall covers certain Santa Fe and Elantra vehicles from the 2021 and 2022 model years.

Hyundai Motor is recalling 226,118 vehicles in the U.S. over concerns the rear view camera image may fail to display, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday. The recall affects certain 2021-2022 model year Santa Fe SUVs and Elantra sedans.
