Northmor competed at North Union on Friday night in a Division V girls’ sectional basketball contest. The Lady Knights saw their season end at the hands of the Wildcats to finish with a 9-14 record.

Jax Wenger hit four three-pointers in scoring 16 for Northmor. Trevor Brubaker finished with 10 and Bo Landin added eight. Mount Gilead was edged by host Lucas on Saturday by a 57-54 score.

The Mount Gilead swim team had a number of athletes compete in the district meet at Ohio University on Friday and were able to muster multiple placers.
