Millions of Americans prepare to travel this Thanksgiving week, and one Texas airport is expected to be among the busiest.

As of the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 27, there were already more than 550 flight cancellations and delays nationwide. In Texas, El Paso flights have not been affected as of yet. However, there have been at least 70 delays across major Texas airports in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.

On what is expected to be the busiest air travel day of the Thanksgiving holiday period this year, the Federal Aviation Administration is warning it plans to implement a ground ground delay program at Newark Liberty International Airport.
